This is the Old Brazilian Sobrado. This model was one of the first paper models that I drew. It was totally created and textured in MsPaint. it was originally posted here on the blog on June 25, 2011.

Este é o Velho Sobrado Brasileiro. Este modelo de papel foi um dos primeiros modelos que eu desenhei. Ele foi totalmente criado e texturizado no MsPaint e foi originalmente postado aqui no blog em 25 de Junho de 2011.

Before the model was separated into multiple sheets in JPG format. Now they were all gathered in a single file in PDF format. This eliminates the possibility of print in different resolutions, which affects the size of the pieces.

Antes o modelo estava em várias folhas separadas em formato JPG. Agora todos foram reunidos em um único arquivo, em formato PDF. Isto elimina a possibilidade de impressão em resoluções diferentes, o que interfere no tamanho das peças.

Toys in the Attic is the third album by American rock band Aerosmith, released in April 1975. Is also a name of a 1963`s drama movie with Dean Martin and Geraldine Page. Now, because this is a really nice name, this will be the name of a new session of the new Papermau`s blog. In this session I will share old original and exclusive paper models posted on the old blog.

Toys in the Attic (Brinquedos no Sotão) é o nome do terceiro album da banda norte-americana de rock Aerosmith, lançado em 1975. É também o nome de um drama para o cinema de 1963 chamado aqui no Brasil de Na Voragem das Paixões, que contava no elenco com Dean Martin (o parceiro do Rat Pack e de Jerry Lewis) e Geraldine Page. Agora, porque eu acho esse um título muito legal, Toys in the Attic será o nome de uma nova sessão do novo blog Papermau. Nesta sessão eu publicarei antigos modelos de papel originais e exclusivos postados no antigo blog.

The Griffin - A Fantastic Animal Paper Model - by Katsuyuki Shiga

This is the Griffin, a paper model created by Japanese designer Katsuyuki Shiga for Canon website. The griffin, griffon, or gryphon is a legendary creature with the body, tail, and back legs of a lion; the head and wings of an eagle; and an eagle's talons as its front feet. Because the lion was traditionally considered the king of the beasts and the eagle the king of birds, the griffin was thought to be an especially powerful and majestic creature. The griffin was also thought of as king of all creatures. Griffins are known for guarding treasure and priceless possessions.

Este é o Grifo, um modelo de papel criado pelo designer japonês Katsuyuki Shiga para o site da Canon. O grifo é uma criatura lendária com o corpo, a cauda e as pernas traseiras de um leão; a cabeça e as asas de uma águia; e as garras de uma águia. Por ser o leão tradicionalmente considerado o rei dos animais e a águia, o rei dos pássaros, o grifo era considerado uma criatura especialmente poderosa e majestosa. O grifo também era imaginado como rei de todas as criaturas. Os grifos são conhecidos por guardar tesouros e bens inestimáveis.
